Deepika For L’Officiel: (Un)Covered

Comment image 33

L’Officiel put Deepika on its March cover dressed in Dior. Styled in the same metallic blue eye-shadow as shown on the runway, Deepika cuts quite the striking picture. The cover itself, not as much. The typeface is bit of a downer!

  1. Is it just me or does her leg look like it is someone else’s. I think waist down it has a weird anorexic look and I think Deepika is much more full bodied than that!

    • +1. It does look anorexic and unlike Deepika. But also i dont like the pose, the hair and the hairline is a bit unatural. I like the idea of this (esp the eye shadow) look but i dont think it translated well.

      • And all this besides a very uncreative cover which is straight off the runway! This is plaigarising in the fashion world if you ask me. No imagination to step it up for the cover whatsover. Oh yes, they did not include the bag;)

  2. Can’t believe this is a magazine cover that will be put up on stands across the country where she is showing half breasts. It is a pity with what is happening to expose people to such pictures.
Well I guess selling is what matters.

    • I have to agree with you..
To a common man, this is a woman wearing a jacket and nothing else, baring her legs and cleavage (or lack of it)
Same goes for PC’s cover, where she’s in a bikini.

If we are going to point fingers at bollywood, item songs, and even rap artists, fashion magazines too should have their own share of it.

  4. Legs look weird like most have mentioned. But she does have the body to carry off that jacket look. Its funny to always read the breast policing comments that too on a magazines cover. Lol

  5. loooove the way Dior looks with Raf Simons heading…the classic element was soo missed- this Dior coat is another example.

btw, would love to see more Jean Paul Gaultier on some of these girls here… and Yohji Yamamoto, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Lilia Pustovit.

  6. pity you don’t have the inside pics, one of the photo she is styled just like Jessica Pare in mad men, where she is singing the zou bisou bisou.
