In Dice Kayek Couture

At the closing ceremony of the 2016 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, Sonam gave us a crisp couture look wearing one from Dice Kayek‘s Spring 2016 collection with jewellery from Nirav Modi. While the runway vest had a more of an hour-glass fit, Sonam’s version seems to have been modified to be more of a slim one.

Not that we are complaining. She looked really good!

In Masaba

Wearing a Masaba sari fresh off the AIFW runway, Sonam attended a charity related event in Mumbai on Tuesday. The sari with its all over print did feel busy and in keeping the hair simple, Ms. Kapoor was able to downplay the print quite a bit.

Was it enough to balance out the look?

Sonam attended a cousin’s wedding over the weekend and was spotted wearing a Dolce & Gabbana blouse and black skirt on her way out and a Bhane denim shirt with thigh-high Margiela boots on her way in.

Wearing It Two Ways

Sonam picked up an ET Panache Trendsetter Award on Friday and for the event wore a Fall 2016 Delpozo look. While Ms. Kapoor sported the runway version with Casadei sandals, a few weeks ago Natasha chose to wear the strapless mini minus the tulle cover-up with Fendi heels, statement earrings and a croc clutch.

Somehow I much prefered Natasha here. But, given the event and the award Ms. Kapoor received, I don’t blame her either for picking this particular look.

In Roksanda

Sonam was a guest of honor at Plan India’s seventh anniversary celebrations where she was seen in a navy Roksanda dress with suede Roger Vivier pumps and a black box bag finishing out her look.

I adored this look at first sight and not just because of my love for all things bell-sleeved. Ms. Kapoor looked really good here, the hair and makeup was on point and the look felt chic and not overtly mature.
