Wearing a Chanel vest with denims and silver pumps, Natasha jetted out of Mumbai late Monday night. But, that wasn’t what caught our eye. It was the over sized Calvin Klein 205W39NYC tote that she carried with her that grabbed our eyeballs.
We can all agree the tote ain’t really practical but we also know that isn’t Ms. Poonawalla’s priority here.
Are you recovered from Cannes red carpet yet? We have, even if for the most part it left us generally meh. If there was one thing that stood out to us, it was the sheer number of white-toned gowns we saw during the film festival.
White is a great pick since it tends to really pop on the red carpet, and when done well, it’s high on impact. But on the flip-side, flaws seem exaggerated too. All said and done, Diana in her Amit Aggarwal sari was our favorite for toeing the ‘sari-but-contemporary’ line well. A close second was Sonam whose tuxedo was definitely high on impact, it’s a pity then that the fit on those pants let her down (see what we said about the flaws).
How did you think our tinsel town ladies fared? Have a favorite?

Natasha attended the Met Gala on Monday wearing a custom Peter Dundas gown. While she wore her hair half up before leaving, by the time she attended the event, it seems like she changed her mind.
Her attempt at the theme was adding the maang tikka which I thought wasn’t enough. If she wanted to add an Indian element to it, I wish she’d picked a more ornate maatha patti and just owned it. What did you think?
Two recent birthday celebrations saw Natasha wearing Gucci floral separates with Chanel bags. As much as I love the separates themselves, couldn’t bring myself to like either of the two outfits. Adding the bag to those already bright earrings was one whimsical element too many and the double Chanel bag with the tracksuit just looked odd.
Natasha seems to be losing her mojo and we sure would like for her to get it back.
P.S: Shop the Chanel ‘Side Packs’here and the Chanel Flaphere.
Natasha attended both the Mehta-Ambani wedding and reception wearing a Shehlaa to the former and a Marchesa gown to the latter. When it comes to Natasha, we’ve gotten used to her being excess and most times do love it. Like her Marchesa look was that and I loved it.
Let’s talk about the Shehlaa one now. Considering this was the actual wedding and not a cocktail reception or sangeet or what have you, I am struggling a lot to figure what made her choose this outfit and that hairdo!? Completely out of place was what that outfit was.
