Channeling one part ‘Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman’ and one part Streep from ‘Out Of Africa’, Sonam put in an appearance promoting her latest movie. I am all for an anti-establishment/non-conformist stance when it comes to largely (and falsely/commercially) propagated norms of feminine beauty but this was way too gimmicky even for me. In the same vein, maybe the actor can channel her inner Tilda Swinton next? Now that, I can get fully behind.

P.S. She is wearing A.W.A.K.E. Mode.

Another day, another movie promotion. For her most recent outing, Sonam picked Escada to wear. With her hair in an updo, she rounded out the look with a hairband and black accessories. So, who else is getting a bit of Blair Waldorf vibe off of this look?

Latest round of movie promotions had Sonam wearing a Masaba sari. Her accessories for the evening included an Hermes mini ‘Kelly‘ (bag) and Amrapali earrings.

The blouse is right up Sonam’s alley but with that sari drape, the overall look isn’t the most effective. Also, that color does absolutely nothing for her. This was bit of a lost opportunity.

At the unveiling of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha’s second trailer, Sonam opted for a Rajesh Pratap Singh brocade bandhgala jacket but instead of wearing it the way it was presented, paired it with a white and gold veshti.

Unfortunately, with the kurta already being so gaudy and flared, it needed a fitted churidaar and a subtler clutch to balance it all out. As is, I wasn’t a fan. It was all too overwhelming. Did you like?

Promotions for her movie saw Sonam in an Anamika Khanna dress and Kunal Rawal cape-style jacket (that she also wore to his store launch) and then in a Mother of Pearl suit on Sunday morning.

As a fan of a crisp pant-suit, it’s hard for me to like these extreme cropped flares so I really wasn’t drawn to the suit. As for the Kunal Rawal, I did find the jacket a bit funny at first but the look is growing on me.
