Nargis wore a silver and gold sari and jacket combo from Shaveta and Anuj to the Filmfare Awards. That hairdo, that neckpiece and then to wear it with that bright red lip. What a terrible waste of a gorgeous sari. Skip the jacket, wear the sari pallu down with a softer do and a lip gloss and this look would’ve been a winner!

Can’t believe somebody can still wear these ancient styles. It’s too glaze, red lip colour add to the gaudiness.
Her make-up and hair let her down, but the sari is exquisite. Nargis would have looked stunning otherwise.
Gosh did rekha put her in this ? Softer makeup and hair down would have helped a bit . But this is too much of everything.

There isn’t a single thing to like about this appearance. Terribly gaudy saree, funny jacket + bustier, mismatched jewellery, clueless make-up, dated hair. Even the Filmfares deserve better.
Simple loose hair, minimal makeup and no jewelry would have made it look better.

I am in the minority here but I think she looks lovely. Dressed for a winter wedding than an awards night. A little severe hair would look better but that’s about it. It’s such a busy saree and glad that she kept the hair up to balance it out.

Maybe she was going for stunning instead of subtle….and in that case she was spot on.
