In Manish Malhotra

At the Jain-Malhotra wedding reception, Kareena was seen in a mint green Manish Malhotra lehenga paired with kundan jewellery and a green metallic clutch. The hairdo here made for a nice change. She looked great.

P.S. In case Ms. Kapoor or her stylists are reading this, please never attempt this hairdo ever again.

  1. In fact, I think that this particular hair style is a complete mismatch with the lehenga. Personally, I find that knots, braids look better with Indian clothes.

  2. @PnP: I actually really like the one you have told them never to attempt. I think that hair suits her more than the one in the pic!
That choli is too bollywoody (read short and tiny) for my taste. Like the mint green color though.

  3. Is short choli the latest trend? Looks like every actress and their neighbours are competing to show off their abs.
On a side note, looks like everyone here are attending their own wedding.

  4. I dont like this hair style. Nor this bollywood version of lehnga choli. Tacky tacky. She should take some fashion tips from her badi behan.

    • seriously! like if they going to take bulk supply from the same designer atleast ensure they all are different than another.. till now alia’s ananya’s tara’s , kiara’s and kareena’s lehengas look the same. no difference between family and non family..

  6. Bebo looks ravishing as she always does. The hairstyle makes her look girlish. She is one lady who can carry off any dress with style and panache.

  7. Yikes! This hair style is not a good change. and the hairs style at the blenders pride even took heavy inspiration from Donny Trump.

Also if the blouse was a tad longer and maybe an inch more on th ehsoulders, I thinks it would have given a much better finished look.

  8. While they all look good, the designers really need to make an effort to do something different. These are the times I miss a Satya Paul. He brought breeziness in the most admirable way to his clothes. (No, Masaba is not one of those different ones.)

I also understand why an MM or a Sabya dont veer too much from their design philosophies – its too risky and they are too deeply entrenched. What about the newer designers? If you guys ar ereading this, please try to create your own niches – don’t try to copy/be heavily influenced by the older/senior designers. We need a breath of fresh air in this industry and only you guys can deliver it.
