A Sandalous Face Off

14

While visiting the Taj Mahal, Ms. Shetty did her match routine, wearing a pair of brown bootie sandals with a brown Prada Pitone drawstring tote. Meanwhile, at Samsaara’s preview event, Roohi paired her bootie sandals with a brown croc tote and an oversized denim shirt dress. Shilpa’s color scheme was just plain bad: the pink with the brown didn’t work at all and that bag was ghastly. As for Roohi, in theory, her outfit should work, but for some reason I don’t quite like it.

You care for either or neither?

  1. i think shilpa looks great.that bag is ghastly, but the beige embroidery on the pink top goes with those sandals, and she does the kurti with those sandals very well

  2. Shilpa would have looked great if she had left the black tights at home. however, since she was visiting the Taj, it must be something she put on for the visit. What roohi is wearing is an oversized shirt, not a shirt dress. I do like her bag.

  4. Jermaine’s leather face *blank stare* distracts me from evaluating Shilps’ gear. I do like Roohi’s bag and sandals. If the dress wasn’t faded denim, it would be OK.

  5. I think the sandals/booties/sooties(?)/ bandals (?) look better on Roohi Jaikishen, though personally I find them awfully ugly.. Over leggings, they just look to me like some chewed off Robin hood shoes.

  6. I love the croc bag. Gosh! I need to stop with my obsession for black and brown bags! I’ve lost count of how many I have but I keep forcing my mom to buy me more. And I have more variety that Anu Dewan LOL and they didnt even cost me a small fraction of one birkin’s price :P
