While at a party in Mumbai last night, both Twinkle and Kiara were photographed wearing silver sequin skirts with white blazers.
Twinkle paired her Paco Rabanne skirt with a white tee and blazer and accessorized with a serious serpent necklace, Zagliani python clutch and metallic peep-toe pumps. And Kiara teamed her Jacquemus jacket with a Monisha Jaising skirt and nude ankle-strap sandals.
I know Twinkle loves her jackets and blazers but not every look warrants one; it just didn’t work with this skirt and the whole look came off a little frumpy. The skirt deserved better! Have no complaints with Kiara’s look- she owned every bit of that sleek, minimalist look; love!

Mrs Funnybones’ humor is crass. If anyone thinks she is funny then the joke is on them. LOL.
Her so called humour is most possibly her own sense of humour. Just trying to exist by keeping up to something so I don’t care. Her style used to be somewhat classy, maybe that’s retiring too.
Kiara wins this hands down! And she is one of the few better dressed ones at the event. The way Twinkle has styled the look makes that skirt look like a sequined lungi.
Kiara looks great. Twinkle, not so much.

Kiara slays every bit of that look. She has been having a good run off late. Good that she has found her niche. Love it!
Love Twinkle’s pieces separately. With the bunching of the skirt out front, it was not a clever move to accessorize it with a heavy jacket and more bling via the purse and shoes AND the necklace.
Now, imagine 1)the same look with a sleek metallic pencil skirt or 2)the skirt with some simple black edgy blouse and black&silver shoes and clutch. Sadly she failed here.
I loved Kiara’s look. It’s perfect and she’s carrying it off well.

I really want to like Twinkle’s look and feel like waist up, she looks great, but yeah, it totally gives silver lungi vibes from the waist down. Kiara looks great…now i’m tempted to get a white blazer!
Kiara and Anushka were my favorite of the night. While Kiara was fun and youthful, Anushka was elegant. But on the whole everyone looked their best!

Kiara looks absolutely insane! Gorgeous girl, gorgeous outfit. Deepika’s stylist please take notes…this is how you do justice to a stunning woman where the styling just elevates them and enhances their natural beauty.
As far as Twinkle goes, a major component of her style mantra seems to be “mix and match” where she combines multiple elements together. Sometimes it works, but often it looks cluttered and a bit of mess frankly where it’s hard to appreciate each individual piece. Take the lustworthy Bulgari Serpenti necklace she’s wearing which is getting lost in the crowd of all the other things she’s thrown on herself. Would love it if she made just one piece the primary focus of her look.
Why bring Deepika in here?
Because both kiara and deepika are naturally gorgeous girls (don’t think you can argue with that!) and whilst one’s stylist manages to enhance her beauty (which, I believe is the job of any good stylist!), the other frequently lets her down which is unfair given deepika has so much potential. Not sure what was wrong with what I said?! Wasn’t mentioning deepika to drag her down at all rather I think it’s a compliment to them as all I was saying is they’re both beautiful girls and deserve stylists who do justice to them…can’t see how any one can find fault or feel offended by what I said?! Let’s not unnecessarily make a big deal out of a harmless comment, everyone’s welcome to express their opinion here.
Agree Kiara looks great and we all know how the saying goes about opinions everyone has got one 🙂 , but my reply was because its rather random bringing up another actress who wasn’t even at this event. Different scenarios (Cannes red carpet vs a 50th birthday party). A bit of apples and oranges comparison, is all.
Wasn’t just referring to Deepika’s Cannes looks (that’s why i didn’t mention the C-word in my response, if you read it correctly) so I wasn’t making a comparison between Cannes and a birthday party (not sure where you got that from haha). My comment, if you read it entirely, referred to the work of Deepika’s stylist in general. Feel like her styling team could do way more justice to her regardless of what events she appears for, give she’s such a beautiful woman (similarly to Kiara, whose stylist manages to do justice to her looks). You seemed to have been confused by my comment and its intention, so hope this helps clear it up. Peace 🙂
