Vision In White?

For a daytime event, Ms. Chopra did one thing right by choosing to wear white. Unfortunately, everything else went wrong for her. Between the tacky sari (or whatever you want to call it) and the belly button piercing, we couldn’t decide what was worse! This outfit actually makes us like Ms. Saran’s South Filmfare Awards outfit now.

It doesn’t end there though. The make-up that looked bearable indoors looked really ghastly in the sunlight and if all the above wasn’t bad enough, choosing to wear a really hideous pair of sunglasses really killed it for us.

What’s your verdict?

Not Quite: Part Deux

It’s not been eons since we saw Ms. Chopra and as for her outfit, neither do I like the dress nor the shoes. Scratch that. I don’t like the dress on her and that’s because the bust is quite ill-fitting and those shoes just bumped the sexy factor down several notches. If you’ve read this, you know we are die hard ‘Mary Jane‘ fans but hers look less Mary Jane hot and way more ‘Mary Poppins’ matronly! (See, I kept my promise! No mention of the hair! 😛 )

Not one to let things get to her, Ms Ray stepped out looking wonderful in a lilac dress.

As for Ms. Saran, she stayed true to her aesthetic by picking a very tacky sari to begin with and then made worse by that draping. Was pinning the pallu to show the blouse really necessary? Channeling Priyanka, were we?

Ms. Biswas rakes in major points not for the sari but for wearing hers much better!

P.S: We wish Ms. Ray well. Her recent news left us shocked.

Fab In Fucshia?

I first saw these pictures and instantly loved the fucshia on Ms. Mukherjee. But, on a closer look, I think the design of the gown is quite weird. I don’t mind the side-tie but the length really bothers me and those shoes are way too chunky for this delicate piece. But, oh the color ‘almost’ makes up for it.

So close to Fab but still not there yet. For me, at least. What about for you?

Update: Ms. Mukherjee carried a Fendi satin clutch.

Chanel Beginnings

Little did we know when we first featured Freida (see here) that this young model was going to take all the red carpets by storm. OK, so we kind of had predicted it but who knew it would come true!

Coming back to the topic, turns out that the dress Ms. Pinto wore for her very first major public appearance was a Chanel and was recently seen on Nina Lucas (sister of Isabel Lucas) at the Chanel Haute Couture show. I loved it then on her and still do. Wonder if George was her stylist back then too?
