At a book launch today, Sonam kept it rather simple wearing a light brown kalidar anarkali with silver jootis and jhumkis. Not only did she have makeup issues but my bigger issue with this look is the color of the suit.

I associate this color with when something goes wrong with bodily-functions and this much of it only makes me think more of it.

Any other color and it would’ve been bearable. It’s probably obvious that I don’t like her suit or the overall look. Do you?

It was Anamika Khanna for Sonam while at the Filmfare Awards. Wearing her hair back, she finished out the look with matching ankle-strap sandals and some gorgeous Sunita Kapoor Signature Line jewelry. No one quite wears the designer like Sonam does and this look was no exception either; she owned the look. But, and there’s a but… Wish she hadn’t found the need to add a choker to the look. The other two necklace did the job just fine on their own!

In Paris for the Spring 2015 couture shows, Sonam attended the Armani Privé one today wearing a Giorgio Armani look from the Spring 2015 collection.

Her separates look revealing plenty of décolleté was finished out the t-strap sandals and a silk jacket that subtly coordinated with the trimming on he bodice.

I have to admit being on the fence about the short organza pants but did Sonam work the look? You betcha!

While in Jaipur, Sonam gave us two very different looks first doing different shades of pink in Dior and then doing a classic black and white look in an Elie Saab suit.

Barring those satin pumps, loved the Dior look. It was super cute and ultra feminine. The Saab look was nice but I would’ve preferred a stiff turtle neck vs the one that she had on. And even with the bold red lip, her eyes still looked tired which made the overall look feel a bit dull.

Which of the two looks did you like more?

When we first saw Sonam’s premiere look on Instagram in the custom Ashi Studio look, we have to admit we were quite floored. The structured dress featuring an illusion waist was quite striking and the smoky eyes/severe hairdo elevated the look even more so. Also loved the unexpected touch of color hat came via the pink Manolos.

If I had a gripe about this look, it was the material used for the illusion waist. In regular pics, it seemed to bunch up and reflect light doing completely the opposite of what it should have.
