Manish Malhotra’s niece Riddhi (and Punit’s sister) had her sangeet ceremony today in Mumbai that saw many of the designer’s friends in attendance wearing creations by him.

The Kapoor sisters, being long time fans, also wore his designs with Karisma opting for a white long suit and Kareena, a pink lehenga. The multiple panels on Karisma’s kurta felt quite busy and given the high neckline, the red lips felt jarring against the collar.

Kareena fared much better here in her lehenga.

Raveena hosted the opening ceremony of the 2014 International Film Festival Of India in Goa to which she wore a green Manish Malhotra sari.

I would’ve preferred to see the hair in a braid or an updo but am guessing she wanted to play down the blouse here.

In attendance at an event celebrating twenty one years of a television show, Shilpa Shetty was photographed on the red carpet wearing a Manish Malhotra sari. Sparkly peep-toes, a monogrammed Judith Leiber minaudière and jewelry from Anmol finished out her look. While I can’t say am a fan of the sari (and blouse), Ms. Shetty did pull it off; she looked nice.

Wearing Manish Malhotra Couture, Sonakshi attended Arpita’s wedding reception. Statement earrings and matching accessories by way of a gold evening bag and red heels finished out her look. And the pink lip did its part in breaking up all that red and gold.

While the shoulders could’ve used minor alteration (to be cinched in), it wasn’t a detail that got in way of how good Ms. Sinha looked! She stood out and wears her outfit well.
