While in LA, Mallika got to attend the Dior Beauty Luncheon and this was her outfit of choice! Egad! The only thing worse than monogrammed logo bags for us is monogrammed logo clothes!

A yellow Anita Dongre Grassroots frock with red Mary Janes, in theory, seems like a good idea but Mallika’s presentation of it doesn’t quite match up. I love the flared skirt but the barely there bustier and the severe ponytail isn’t gelling with the fun nature of what this look should be. It’s a thumbs down from us. What about for you?

P.S. Anyone else think Ms. Sherawat is chanelling a certain Ms. Arora?

So, there is a new movie out this weekend called Mallika starring Sheena Nayyar and oddly enough Sheena decided to attend the screening of the movie wearing an Anita Dongre dress seen on Mallika!

Coincidence? We think not! Question is, who do you think wears it better? The gal playing Mallika? Or the real Mallika?

This is a Ms. Sherawat we don’t quite recognize covered from head to toe but can’t say we are complaining. She looks quite nice and this is definitely an upgrade from some of the other (cough cough) appearances of hers in a traditional avatar.

The Long And Short Of It

Ask and you shall receive. We all wished that Ms. Sherawat would change up her hairstyle and she did. But, do we like it. Not one bit. It also doesn’t help her case that we’ve seen this Dolce & Gabbana dress (albeit in a different version) already on Malaika and worn really well.

Seems like Ms. Sherawat seems to have alternate hits and misses.
