Night And Day

Comment image 31

There should a difference but with Malaika, it wasn’t much. A black short dress gave way to a white one and the hair was pulled back but all else remained same. Having said that, which look worked better? The night look or the day look?

  1. Love the day look. U know, she may be wearing the same style(short, sexy), but she is one woman who can carry it off without looking tacky.

  2. the day look… the dress+aviators+long, bronzed legs….but too much orange….either the clutch or the pair of shoes should have been a lil mellowed….

  3. too tarty..she should be careful before she starts to look like the toned down indian version of pamela anderson…malaika is hot but does she aaalways haaaave to dress in teeny tiny dresses that show waaaay too much skin???

  4. I soo wish the white D&G dress was just 2/3 inches longer and she would have absolutely nailed the look! With the tied back hair and the aviators, she wears the dress really well. Shame about the length!

  5. Though I like the D&G dress in the second picture, I don’t think it’s meant for her. She lacks the body language and attitude to pull such a dress off. On the other hand it works great on the model.

As a seperate pieces though I think the clutch and sandals are stunning, but again, she didn’t quite pull them off.

    • I dont mean this in an insulting way, but if MALAIKA lacks the body language and attitude, who in your opinion, has it?
      Just curious

I don’t like the black look: it’s too tacky for me but she looks sizziling in the the D& G. I agree with other people on here who said that the dress has to be longer (knee lengthish) for the silhoutte to work. Also orange overload. But still, fierce.

      • and @ PnP: I dont see how the white dress and the black dress are the least bit similiar? Sure they’re both short, but is it a crime to short dresses often?

  6. fact is malaika is atleast 40 plus she should stop dressing like a teenager or a 20 year old and start dressing her own age. also mostly she is just trying too hard to look sexy and that ends up looking cheap or vulgar at times i am sorry but that is the truth. nothing wrong in looking sexy but first try to dress ur own age and then do not try to be too out there

    • She looks better than most 20 year olds/teenagers so I see nothing wrong with her dressing sexy. In fact it’s better that she dresses like this.. she’s happily married and is secure with herself – I’d rather see someone like her dress sexy than a teenager who has no idea what they’re doing or why dress sexy.

    • Malaika is fabulously fit (way more than many twenty year olds as Sharin said) so I see no problem with her dressing the way she does: she can definitely carry it off, so I dont see any logical reasons why she shouldnt ( She’s too old is not a logical reason, in my opinion, its an ageist reason)

And what is ‘too out there’ is entirely open to personal interpretation nd it depends on each persons tastes, it’s her clothes so her tastes should apply when she decides what to wear and obviously this is not ‘too out there’ for her.

Again ‘cheap’ and ‘vulgar’ is completely subjective so it cannot be the truth.

P.S: absolutely no offense intended, sorry if you took any

  7. Malaika looks like a summery cocktail in that D&G dress. She looks fabulous! just wished it was knee length like popular opnion here says.
The black one looks really reaally bad.. i dont know why she chose such a dress. It looks like a lingerie wasit up and a feathery birdie/bear costume waist down. bad! (the things that go down in the name of fashion.. good lord!) and the orange doesnt work with this dress at all.. it works with the white dress a lot better.
I love the way her cheekbones show when she has her hair pulled back. she looks real nice. she should do so more often!
