Keeping it simple in a black Ports 1961 dress was Kareena at the first look event of her upcoming movie ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’.
You’d think that the lace-up Tom Ford sandals and the pony-tail were enough to make this look a winner but it wasn’t. The look had us wanting more: a coral lip, a chunky jewelled cuff. Just something more.

Kareena covers Filmfare’s latest issue and for the magazine’s unveiling/launch, picked a Soup by Sougat Paul sari. An interesting choice; props for stepping away from the predictable.
But… While we were happy to see a look that stood out to us on the runway make it’s way off-the-runway, do wish Kareena had worn the sari the way it was presented. By not wearing the pallu under the harness, the look in the color-block sari became same ol’, same ol’.
