Keeping it simple in a black Ports 1961 dress was Kareena at the first look event of her upcoming movie ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’.
You’d think that the lace-up Tom Ford sandals and the pony-tail were enough to make this look a winner but it wasn’t. The look had us wanting more: a coral lip, a chunky jewelled cuff. Just something more.

I agree with you.. may be some gold belt.. or emerald green accessories would have really elevated this dress.. mehhh..
Second that! She could have easily added a cuff or some pretty earrings and just had a little more fun with the look.
This dress is not flattering on her. Doesn’t flatter the legs. Not loving those pumps with this either.
This dress is amazing waist down, but it doesn’t help Kareena waist up. Her arms look bigger than probably they actually are. The shoes are cute and the look otherwise is clean and simple.

Well the arms are not entirely bare as you can see…and the looser fabric from the waist upwards, is actually making the waist look really small (which is great), but the upper portion of her body look bigger than it prolly is.
Agree with you Payal.. the dress is pretty but nothing great .. The Tom Ford sandals are doing nothing to lift up the mood.. all in all quite dull appearance considering her contemporaries have given us such fab looks in the past during promotions…
I liked Kareena’s looks earlier this year. Recently, she has changed her makeup back to her old raccoon eyes style leaving the rest of the face”bare”. She has to put down that kohl!
the make up is off.. looks very cakey and her lipstick n liner dont match.. basics kareena..
this dress doesn’t flatter her figure and makes her arms look big. this look needed some kind of a statement piece to make it pop.
Having seen what her co-star Imran Khan and other folks associated with this movie were wearing at the same event (jeans and black button downs), I feel Kareena is pretty dressed up in comparison and looks really radiant here.
