In Papa Don’t Preach

Taapsee attended the Kids Choice Awards back in December wearing Papa Don’t Preach. Given this was a kids’ related event, I liked that she added a fun hairdo to go with the outfit but the more I look at the outfit itself, I do find myself scratching my head a bit. Silver dress, one shoulder beige blazer tied together with a yellow belt bag.

Probably asking for too much here, but I hope this pandemic lockdown has made each of us realise what’s really important, and what we can live without… Case in point being this waste of resources and material on the “blazer”. I wish our emphasis will shift from this kind of wear-once fashion to a more sustainable one. If there was ever a time for celebs, and us, to reassess the Insta-lifestyle this would be it!
