We loved Shrivan and Narresh‘s collection and can’t quite blame Pratima for wanting to wear that outfit out (who wouldn’t? the colors are fabulous!) but let’s face it, somethings are better left alone for the sandy beaches. Like brightly colored umbrella drinks and sarongs.
Seeing Pratima hold on to her dress in an attempt to avoid peek-a-boo moments in all of her pictures had us thinking… it must not have made for a very comfortable evening. :p
That aside (and the mis-matched clutch), she does look lovely.

It was a Kim Kardashian for Bebe dress for Ms. Basu at the music launch of ‘Lamhaa’ and can we say ‘damn‘. She looked quite fab, and might we add, wore it much better than both the Kardashians sisters themselves. And no, we aren’t just being partial to Ms. Basu.
As fab as Kim does look, her pumps were a tad too bulky for the dress. Kourtney lost us at the severe pulled back hair and the bare arms. In the end, the dress itself also just fit Ms. Basu so much better.

Shamita Shetty too made an appearance at the recent launch and boy did her Louis Vuitton Fall 09 shoes stand out. These shoes aren’t my thing but they sure are a pair of eyeball grabbing heels. It’s got to be said though, Ms. Shetty didn’t quite do them justice; her choice of outfit let her down bad.
