Wow! She looks lovely. Her eyebrows still freak me out though.
ha ha! i know, i was thinking the same thing, she looks really lovely but those eyebrows! are the real? or photoshoped
my thought too… they made a middle aged woman look like a 20yrs younger and with wierd eyebrows and therefore wierd expression…
But i do like the rajasthani queen vibe it gives.
I love the clothes more than the jewels.
lol! i was really liking the pic till i read yr comment and saw her eyebrows…..they ARE freaky! too much of air-brushing doesn’t really help?!
Oh my my!! Lovely cover, I love her pose. She looks like a Gujarati bride. I want all the jewellery but for the necklace and earrings.
Gorgeous! Perfect eyebrows and yummy jewels! Such a royal vibe around the cover! 🙂
she looks good and I’m sorry *I* want the jewels.
What’s happening with her arm though!?
Such a stunning cover! Nita is such an elegant, graceful woman,
Wow!! So graceful…
Drooling over that armband…I know the other pieces too. But I can see myself using that armband on a more regular basis!
Yeah….me too!! Digging the jewlery…. :))
omg..she looks so young..fresh and delicate..!! loving the jewels and even the lehenga is so pretty and festive without being too blingy !! Its reminiscent of a Rajasthani princess look..she doesn’t even look old enough to be the queen..damn you woman!! 🙂
she is pretty no question.. i wish she change the eyebrow shape.. its no archy looking/scary
im not the one to lust after money but she makes me sad for not being rich enough to afford those jewels. 🙁
Ironic that Mohd. Rafi’s Husn vaale tera jawaab nahi is playing in the background as I stare at this photo. Perfect companion.
very pretty, but wish her eyes were open more. who knew this ambani bahu would beat the other bahu in the glamour dept:)
exactly my thought 🙂 and that too when the other bahu happens to be an ex miss india and a bollywood heroine!!
Good observation Suchi. 🙂
oooooh, love the jewellery. nita looks divine.
Hate to say it but she’s trying way too hard…….
I agree, I do love the jewelry, but she is too decked up, I especially hate the large nose ring. It is too big.
Photoshopped. I know she has severe eyebrows, but they’d put cruella de vil to shame
cruella….JOKES…
hahahaha!!
ohhh eehhm gee….
m taking away the nathni…
amazing at 45 (+ – )
its wonderful how u can look so royal with a FEW changes..
i capitalized few because “those few” changes cost a bomb
hahaha
HI Blitz comes out with some of the best covers! They’re so regal!
Love it!!
Great outfit. I like/want the jewelry too. Her face is too delicate for the nose ring, which could have been smaller. However she looks lovely.
nice dress and jewels, i would take them all. She looks gorgeous.
SO Beautiful. My wedding is coming up I am trying to get looks together that I like. this one is one of the tops.
Is it the money or your natural beauty which makes you look soooo gorgeous. The jewelry, lehenga..everything on the cover.. DIVINE !!
either i am kind of behind or you guys are not wearing your glasses..the face looks really bad..as if she is about to say something and they snap the picture right there..the mouth ,the eye impression and the raised eyebrow..just didnt do it for me and the angle of that nose ring is wrong too
They really did photoshop the shizzle out of that arm, didn’t they?
she looks lovely.. no doubt.. but photo shop much??
i think the attire wasn’t at all age appropriate.. and no matter how beautiful she is.. she looks way too younger here than she does in any other normal pics of hers… thanks to photoshop of course.. Bejesus! will women ever embrace their age rather then trying to look younger and younger all the time..
Amen. I agree. There is the mag’s responsibility to give a good cover. But it has to be balanced out with a bit of reality.
In this case, I don’t see the point of dressing a 45+ woman as a bride (particularly one who is not a bride/playing a bride/looking to get married). to say nothing of the fact that if you’ve been famous this long, its rather obvious to the world that you HAVE to be older than you look in this pic and HAVE err… been helped a little.
i’d have preferred the cover to have her in a nice elegant, age appropriate salwar suit. i know she’s lost loads of weight recently, but we see her at events often enoough to know that this is nothing like the real her.
I also wonder how the elder bahu agreed to this look. Perhaps the younger one is the smarter one after all.
i think people are a bit more against photoshop in the west than they are in India… mags get a lot of criticism for excessive photo shopping.. after all there are ppl out there who are very impressionable and who try so hard to be like these stars.. without understanding that its pretty much impossible to have the perfect skin, perfect body at all the times and at all ages… without a bit of tweeking… be it photo shop or cosmtic surgery…
It is a bit ironic to Photoshop Much when they have “The Beauty Within” for her on the cover. No truth or trust in advertising I guess.
Err, this whole wedding-ish/royal-ish/jodhabai-ish look is SO wrong for the humanitarian image this billionaire’s wife would want to convey!
There is a certain politics in styling, and this one’s clearly non PC!
My thoughts exactly!
Thank God for good old Photoshop….they can make anyone look 25.
lol…. exactly my thoughts.
Nevertheless, must praise the hi blitz team for giving us something different..atleast the concept of the rajasthani princess in a real non cleavage showing way was different…
i’ve seen her in real life really up close and she does look this good.
come on guys, her face looks harsh. that nosering is size xxl and her necklace is off kilter. are you sure this is photoshopped?
haha.. Payal this is defs photoshopped… how, ever,i totally agree with ur points there.. so may be this is a case of “bad” photo-shopping..the person who did it need to pay more attention to detail…
The shadow on the page and the entire right side of her left arm is most definitly photoshopped.
sorry … shadow on the face …
Jewellery is amazing. (Read) … each piece – individually.
Do I get a wiff of “J” in the comments…….ladies………
I don’t get the ‘this is not appropriate for her age’ comments. She’s wearing gorgeous traditional wear and i think the lehenga is very age appropriate…one does not have to be getting married or of a certain ‘marriagable age’ (what is that?) to be wearing such clothes. My big gripe with the look is the nose ring which is way too huge and obscuring half her face! i think a smaller nose ring or a stud would have looked better. I love the rest of the jewellery and the lehenga though!
I love her jewelry! Where would I be able to get those from? Her arm bands to the rings are perfect for my wedding!
Every woman of every age has the right to dress up as a bride. My issue is taking a 40-plus woman and photoshopping her to look like a 20-something. Why not take a 25-year-old then?
Then is is not Nita Ambani!
The jewelry is nice and all.. the eyebrows are another story.
Oh my my she looks stunning and much much much b8r then L’Official Cover April last year.
Not elegant and not age-appropriate!
“beauty within” is definitely the wrong caption 🙂
That’s perfect!

Thanks to Bachi for the phrase.
