At the Vogue Wedding Show held in Delhi not too long ago, we caught two sightings of Ms. Bakshi’s and neither look disappointed. Wearing her hair half up, she paired both her dresses with Louboutins. A Prada clutch finished out her look in the Victoria Beckham dress and the Antonio Berardi sheath was paired with a Givenchy clutch.

Though she looked good in both, the Victoria Beckham dress was the definite favorite.

As part of her ambassador duties, Ms. Penty was on hand to launch TRESemmé’s latest product. Expectedly, the hair was the star of the look, as it should have been… But, the mane wasn’t enough to distract us from the dress which mainly just did not work. Between the color (which does nothing for her) and the unfinished/hurriedly-finished looking bodice, the dress was a complete miss.

It’s a pity we don’t have more frequent sightings of Ms. Goel. Whether dressed-up or down, Prerna’s understated style (even when wearing statement pieces) always wins her a vote in our books. This recent appearance of hers was no different either.

Wearing denims, tank and espadrilles, a very casual Prerna Goel attended a recent event. A Lele Sadoughi Flamingo necklace and Roberto Cavalli cross-body elevated an otherwise standard-issue look. We like!

Femina’s July cover sure packs a punch featuring Ms. Qureshi making a statement about her body. If that doesn’t open up a debate, what would…? Without getting specific about a particular star (to avoid moderation), tell us, is it fair to hold our celebrities to this standard of beauty and body? When they (actors) peddle everything from shampoos to insurance, should we also expect them to look a certain way as part of their off-the-cinemascope duties? Or excelling in the craft of their choice is enough. We want to know what you think!
