i must say its a very unimpressive collection…i’ve def seen better…what do you guys think? I mean all these clothes look very run of the mill, nothing outstanding
but the outfit on the top right is nice…the angrakha one it seems the best of the lot
nah nth spcial, hv seen this kinda wrk n combo n evn style in dozens
he has tried to experiment with cuts, but i am not sure if the colors are working.. they seem a bit dull to me.. really sad, considering rocky s has come with better ones.. in the past
err….yuck!! don’t like even a single piece.
Some of the more traditional pieces are okay (My favourite is the 2nd row, right side gold and red dress)…some of the cuts don’t work and mostly its quite blah.
strictly okay. even though he’s got the ombre trend, wouldn’t want to spend my money on this.
I really like the gold ensemble (2nd from the top, right hand side) and the 3rd and 2nd turquoise outfits are cute, too! The rest aren’t bad, and I appreciate that he tried to do something different, but they’re not as impressive as they could have been!

that 2nd row right hand side gold top’s neck cut.. really does remind me of something i have seen here b4.
the red-and-gold (2nd row right) is the best of the lot. the rest is strictly mediocre
why does everyone copy sabyasachi??that IS clearly what hes doing..!
It took me forever to pinpoint what exactly was ruining these outfits for me…and more than anything it was those flowers strewn around the models that is seriously annoying me! just goes to show that presentation really matters! the outfits are boring per se..i am only slightly inclined towards the 2nd row right one…but other than that they are all vv blahh…a low waist belt on a saree in the last pic…wat was he thinking?

I think its below average. Its like he has vomited sequins on cloth. Even the colors that are used together are off.
bsimple, yes the flowers are very irritatting. like thay are walking around in some low class wedding type venue.

Terrible….looks like stuff one would get at any cheap store in Bombay.. definitley not designer… dissappointing this is his haute couture creations!!

NOT liking it at all … This collection even 2-3 years ago would be old-fashioned. Whats with the fish-tail skirts … who wears those now ?!
Haute Couture ladies is a done to death phrase which is completely incorrect. It is an exclusive club that is governed by a body of French designers in Paris and you have to invited to that club, you cannot just become a Haute couturier just because you make highly embellished outfits. Recent entries to this exclusive club has been Elie Saab and NO indian designer - not even a Shahab Durazi are in the club, so when designers in India bandie about the word “Haute Couture” they are speaking utter rubbish.
I don’t like it at all. Tacky and very unoriginal. SABYASACHI MUKHERJEE - all the way!
Very Filmi or TV serialish….very disappointing…
Too much going on with prints and glitter and those cuts. It looks like a kid asked to play with glitter glue on some of those dresses.
this may sound nasty but the girls look like they work at a beer bar. Ofcourse, my impression of beer bar girls is from movies like Chandni bar, never really been to one :)

me too…2nd row right side. that caught my eye. rest are passable to me.
Jsut okay. I give it a 4 - nothing amazing. The models are not that pretty either. It’s like they are bored with the outfits themselves.
