The saree is a bit too shabbily draped for my taste.

Who wears a cross body bag with a saree? Lame.

she’s so trim! that looks like a very comfortable saree to wear, and i like how simply she has styled it. warmer colours suit her more, i think. perhaps if the blouse were yellow?

    1. She needs to stop wearing that cross body on all her ethnic outfits.
    2. This sari/blouse only looks good cause konkana(or would work on any pretty girl) is wearing it.
    3. This sari is something most housewives in India wear, not special at all.
    4. I don’t understand the Anavila brand hype at all.

Haha! Adara you are hilarious. That’s what I was thinking, but I was lack of words.

Is she actually wearing lilac petticoat under that white sari? SMH

Agree with the bus conductor comment above.

So shabby and such a bad drape. And I cannot see the “designer” element in this AT ALL.

I actually think she looks lovely and i also find the cross body bag+saree to be a kind of becoming her trade mark. Its so unique and i like her for that.
So refreshing and yet there is a old world charm to the whole look…

Is this really supposed to be a designer sari? And what’s the deal with pairing a cross-body bag with a sari? It looks lame.

I don’t mind the cross body bag with sari.!! I think it’s getting to be her trade mark ..!! But that sari in itself is so “not designer” ..!! And that drape is somehow giving a housewife vibe ..! Nothing wrong with that, but I personally think it’s not a fashion statement. A little effort sometime can be good.

Love it. wish konkana can sometimes wear her bag just on one side.

This is a designer saree?? Seriously?? This looks like the sarees women wear to bed.

A 70s Vidya Sinha/working girl vibe. She looks comfortable in her skin and happy, which is more than can be said for all the people dressed up in ill-fitting ‘designer’ outfits, their discomfort quite evident.
