What’s wrong with having a tan line? She looks great!

Exactly my thoughts. Think we are being rather nitpicky here!

Just as important — or otherwise — as other kinds of grooming! If we go on and on about foundation not matching skin colour, I don’t see why this is so different.

This! Fashion has rules that will always apply. & tan lines are one of them. No clue why it´s so unbelievable for some of my fellow posters. *shrugs*

she looks outstanding. tan lines adds to the ease and comfort of just being well-dressed!

It´s plain simple TACKY. Especially @ a big event like this & when the person is supposed to be an authority in all things fashion. A big fashion faux pas. It´s like when your undies are showing under your outfit. Big no no. Shame, because that´s the best she looked in a long time imo.

It’s annoying to see someone look so good and you guys totally dissing their look at the end of the praises by your ‘BUT there’s…’ Who cares.

Guys, they didn’t nitpick anything. They just shared what they saw. They are fashion bloggers, need to give the details. Don’t be harsh, seriously!

+1 A tanline is a tanline and there s nothing wrong in noting it!

Hahah forget the tan, how’s about those poses?! Subtle (NOOOOOT)

Reminds me of Sonam Kapoor’s Cannes (Dolce and Gabbana) look – or a toned down version of it. Nonetheless, Bebo Kapoor looks fabulous!

I don’t mind the tan lines, she looks good! Strapless suits her pretty well.

what’s wrong with a tan line? it makes her look REAL. and tells a story of a great holiday.

    1. Ahot at | | Reply

Not on the redcarpet, I am afraid.

P&P heartiest congratulation on being a major contributing force to the demand for inhuman perfection, even generating subtle propaganda for it..and then you’ll lament and lambaste “all that photoshop”. Of course now that you’ll are mainstream, political correctness is imperative..

    1. Malvika Deshmukh at | | Reply

Bingo! I read strong criticism about photoshopped images in one post and a very contradicting stance even about going au naturel depicting imperfections in another.

    2. Ahot at | | Reply

Oranges & apples. I don´t always agree with P&P, but in this instance they are right. Photoshop is criticised for creating a person that cannot exist. A tanline is not an an imperfection, it goes away when the tan fades. On the redcarpet, it takes away from the look & should be hidden by a little body makeup or another outfit. It´s like walking around with your unmentionables showing, it shouldn´t happen on the redcarpet to a star that is being dressed by a professional stylist.

I can’t seem to get past Kareena’s fake demeanor. While she may opt for looks that are non-filmy, what takes it away are those pouts and beaten-to-death hands around the waist poses. For me, styling is not just about fab clothes but I guess also carrying it with ease. It makes the whole look that much more appealing.

Agree. I thought the same thing. A nice smile can make a look. Her pouts always kill the look for me. How about a nice fun smile.

Exactly, what’s wrong with a tan line….what has that got to do with the look?

What’s wrong with a tan line??
here’s what’s wrong; its terribly trashy!!!

    1. RB at | | Reply

What so trashy about a tan line? We all go out in the sun and we all tend to get darker if we wear bathing suits like normal people.

    2. Malvika Deshmukh at | | Reply

trashy because it is the product of wearing a bathing suit? Last I checked we were in circa. 2014.

Take it easy p&p…Bebo was in Maldives not long ago catching up with her beau whilst he is shooting for an upcoming movie… Looks like she may have hit the beach whilst on a break. She looks hot and that’s all that matters!

A tan line says she just got back from vacation in a warm place and I’m jealous!
    Nothing to nit pick there!

Good to see that at least some in India don’t have a fear of the tan.

Though I thoroughly dislike Kareena and think she is overrated, I love the way she carries this dress/maxi…She looks gorgeous…The tan is distracting but not a deal breaker for me…

It’s a tan line, not bad make-up and no big deal either. She looks good.

She looks lovely !!! I have always felt that the blog stands for good critiquing which is a very fine line and you gals have managed to do it so well for the past few years ! You never criticized if someone was fat , skinny , dark , fair ,short , tall etc .But it saddens me to know that off late this has been changing . Commenting on a TAN line was so not necessary , i mean it is ok to say oh i see a tan line but being the blog you are and the impact you gals seem to have on a lot of women i really wish you gals restore that balance and not start nit picking on every single thing . Your style of critiquing has been slowly changing and this has been noticeable off late . Especially Payal …don’t nitpick ..please go back to being the fun critique you were ! Just remind yourself that this blog has a numerous readers and you have great power in your hands :) Just saying :)
