    I thought this was a kurta and then I looked down and saw the boots! Its such a strange silhouette. Maybe if the dress was shorter it would have worked.

    On a aside, I like the sari the other lady is wearing!

    the sari is gorgeous
    but the dress is unflattering on all but the skinniest and tallest and flat-chested (none of which she is)

    apparently, that’s a ghagra choli. this shot of asmita has another model to the left (cut out here) with a gorgeous (actual) saree – rediff’s coverage of the lfw 2008 has a full image, if anybody is curious.

    she looks awful in most of her own creations. she designs in hyderabad and boy does she come out wearing some crap!

    the silhouette of the dress does not suit her at all (nor will it anyone), the top part & colors however, i like!!! and love the bangles.
