Poorna attended a gala in NYC wearing an Amit Aggarwal sari-gown. I thought the top was odd but then I looked at the skirt which had a back white panel but an underwear white silhouette in the front and it just had me scratching my head. I didn’t care for this sari-gown one bit. Did you?

This blouse design reminded me of the mosquito bites quote from Bend it like Beckham. It needs to go away pronto. Also black may have been a better choice than white.
These self appointed “haute couture” designers are on a mission to destroy the saree. At some point, the national Handloom beavers association or something should put out a notice.

i think i’d have given it a pass based on pix 1 and 2, but that white underskirt kind of thing throws everything off. poorna being poorna maxes the incomprehensible outfit.
