Whiteout
Natasha attended a party at designer Manish Malhotra’s home on Saturday evening wearing a strapless butterfly applique dress which I think is a modified version from one of the dresses from the Oscar De La Renta‘s Fall 2023 bridal collection. Her all-white look did make her look overdressed compared to the other ladies at the same do but she did look good.
Having said that, I read recently a saying about “how one can never be over-educated or over-dressed” and am particularly curious to hear y’alls thoughts about the “over-dressed” part.

You’d think she gets invited to enough galas and soirees to not have to wear couture to a chill evening with friends .
As a lifelong minimalist, overdressing is the stuff of nightmares for me!
I guess I just found out my soul sister here. Lol!
The dress looks like she is wearing a balloon covered with flowers. Honestly she is overdressed on most occasions.
By Natasha standards, this is a rather simpler evening look. I doubt we’ll ever see her in Pyjamas- t shirt looks or anything similar to what her group were in for a chill evening. Full gleaming make up, gold hair, whacky bags is very normal of her.
Also, I like this dress it’s cute.
She is in a different category than the rest of her friends and that makes her want to stand out. She will socialize with them but will be hesitant to be dressed like the rest …
So much couture and only 365 days a year!! I empathize:)
Hahaha ?
Just as over educated or overqualified are used in terms of a post or job…, Over dressed can be given an ocassion . So it’s relative to that context.
And it’s nice to see ms Natasha in a simple look finally !
Overeducated and overdressed both needs to be shown- off at an appropriate event. If done otherwise, the effort goes in vain!
I think good fashion should include event appropriateness along with everything else. It’s about time that we aren’t slaves to just being a clothes horse.
By Natasha’s standards this is an equivalent of and old t-shirt and pajamas!
