For a recent wedding in Mumbai, Amrita picked a Manish Malhotra lehenga to wear. Considering it was not the usual pastel sparkly number from the designer, it made for a welcome change. But we aren’t convinced the lehenga itself worked on Amrita. The dupatta seemed to overpower her and the styling overall seemed too severe. It was bit of a miss!

Armaan and Anissa’s wedding reception saw Tara in a white Manish Malhotra lehenga which she wore with a choker, earrings and a white potli. I don’t like the stark white embroidery on the dupatta but overall, she looked nice.

Alia attended the Jain-Malhotra wedding wearing a pink lehenga by Manish Malhotra. Instead of wearing a lot of jewellery, she wore only a big maang tikka which did make her look stand out. Just a tad bit.

At the Jain-Malhotra wedding reception, Kareena was seen in a mint green Manish Malhotra lehenga paired with kundan jewellery and a green metallic clutch. The hairdo here made for a nice change. She looked great.

P.S. In case Ms. Kapoor or her stylists are reading this, please never attempt this hairdo ever again.

Karisma wore a white Manish Malhotra anarkali to the Jain-Malhotra wedding reception on Tuesday evening. I think we can agree Karisma always picks the better of Malhotra’s designs and also always wears them well.
