For a recent wedding in Mumbai, Amrita picked a Manish Malhotra lehenga to wear. Considering it was not the usual pastel sparkly number from the designer, it made for a welcome change. But we aren’t convinced the lehenga itself worked on Amrita. The dupatta seemed to overpower her and the styling overall seemed too severe. It was bit of a miss!

But the colour is so so beautiful!
I’m going to turn a blind eye to the minor things (read: that mismatched dupatta) for a. the colour b. this not being a super blingy, stealing-the-brides-thunder kinda outfit c. Simple jewellery choices

thank god it is not pink/ white/ off white/ silver colour tone lehenga. She stands out because of that.

I LOVED this lehenga but you are right, wish the dupatta werea plain simple one…that dupatta feels like it belongs to a different lehenga altogether…she does look nice and much better than many in the event though..
Looks like the choli fastener is on the side. What a brilliant idea!

Hate the hair color. A regular deep brown hair wouldve elevated the look so much
Omg easily one of my most fav lehengas seen on these pages. LOVE it. The jewel tones are fabulous and the dupatta is gor-gee–ous
One of those times I wish this outfit could have had its time in the spotlight…now it will just fade away in the ocean of boring sparkly pastels.

I really like the lehenga…Its her styling which is wrong and not making it work…
She had me at lehnga color .
Lehnga is great even with this duppatta. Hope she would have worked on her hair color or had her hair done in a whimsical low bun , it sure would have worked better.
But I still like her in the sea of pastel , nudes glittery lehngas with tiny bra choli and the inappropriate Sarees.
I feel had she gotten a chance to come out of her sister’s sexy persona she would choosen a much more elegant style for herself but she mostly seem to get influenced or complexed by her sis’ sexy outings & feel pressured to do same and then fail miserably .
But here she has earned points in both of her outings for the wedding even though both of them needs some better styling n makeup.
I think everything is good about lehnaga – color , styling except her post, specially 1st and 3rd. Look at me… I am hot. You did not notice my washboard abs, here ..check now.
