Sari Style?

It may seem like just about everyone wore churidaar suits at this wedding reception but there were some who donned the sari.

You’ve got to forgive me for automatically associating this kind of sari with a certain Ms. Patel but thankfully Kim shows us that you can still wear it well. She also gets added points for wearing mogra.

As for the other two, one lost me with the big-bullseye-bindi and the other with the tacky OTT color.

P.S. Kim is carrying the Jimmy Choo Candy clutch in silver.

While Kim looked cute, Mahima looked chic…minus the hair and shoes of course! And then there was Shaheen who despite over-working the ‘trend’ (of boyfriend blazer, shimmery top, leggings, hairband and those heels) still came off looking nice… relatively of course! Relative to whom you ask? Look inside. 😉

In Black

These ladies in black just didn’t deliver. While Maria’s was way too ordinary for the occasion, Kim’s was just as predictable and filmy! Neither did we quite care for Aditi’s sari, the print and the pearl/beading accents just didn’t do it for us!

But what completely threw us for a loop is Nandita’s outfit. We can’t even begin to figure it out; just what is that?
