In Nicole Miller

Wearing a ruched Nicole Miller dress, Queenie attended a recent event. Between the crinkly fabric, the ruching and the detail at the waist, can’t say we are fans of the dress. Add to that the clutch, bracelets and the necklace, this look stood no chance. Hopefully with her next sighting, Ms. Singh won’t disappoint us!

Sari Style

Also in attendance at the recent store opening were these ladies… Wearing Trupsel saris, they cut quite colorful picture! Can you pick a favorite among those featured below?

We’ll have to give this one to Ms. Puri who gave us a quite the start by changing things up! Besides, she wears her big bindi rather well. We like.

Sari Style

At a party held in honor of Sridevi being awarded the Padma Shri, Madhoo and Queenie attended the do wearing saris. Now, when these ladies of Léger pass on the expected body-con bandage dress for a sari, it sure is going to catch our eye. Of the two, we prefer Madhoo’s look. That said, we do wish she had picked a different clutch.

Of Dresses

Queenie attended day two of LFW wearing a soft pink leather dress that bore quite a resemblance to a Spring 2011 Holly Fulton dress. Am not sure if hers is a variation of the runway or a high-street brand that just slightly modified the details.

The leather dress featuring perforated martini glasses was super cute but in pairing the dress with a pink clutch and pink platform wedged, she sucked the fun right of out it.

But, the accessories were the least of all problems about this look. The cakey make-up was just plain bad!

At the launch of book ‘Rambagh Palace’, Mumbai socialites Queenie and Madhoo were in attendance wearing saris. Like their look?

Also at the event, Sabyasachi presented a capsule collection of five limited edition saris inspired by Maharani Gayatri Devi. The picture below is the only one we have… Like what you see? We sure do.
