  1. Somebody please photoshop these pictures and fix it please !! My mom in law would give her long sleeves , increase the length of the blouse and make it almost a kurta, and finally remove the smile from her face ;-(

The yellow saree (and I strictly mean just the saree !) looks quite good though.

  2. I want to run out there and cover her up. Didn’t think I would say this, as it was so bad earlier but this time around its worse. What possesses some women to do this???

    • I think they don’t understand the meaning of “getting dressed”…they think turkey or chicken dressed…or may be they just outsourced dressing up to their poodles or whatever…

  3. Guess she didn’t get the message that this is so not cool. Ain’t gonna say more because apparently this is a sensitive topic particularly with my opinion on it.

  4. Okay, Amisha, I get what you were trying to do/show, and even though IIIIIIiiiiiii would never do that myself, why not take the pallu over your right shoulder (gujju-style) if that’s what you really want to do? Don’t drape it across….let it hang on one side…but even that would be SO MUCH better than this.

  5. she really lives on her own planet—- the saree is tooo too simple — at least wear some bling bling jewellery- u cannot turn up at someones reception looking like youve come for a cocktail party..

    • Really? Jealous of what? That tacky sari? The horrible draping? Or that horrid make up in the picture on the right? The non-existent sari blouse? She’s a hot mess. I am jealous of someone at this party but it certainly isn’t Amisha—it’s Haseena with that classy sari of hers.

  6. Good God!!
The sari , draping is tacky to say the least … but what is more annoying is the expression on her face .. she thinks she’s looking good and sexy and all that .. This woman needs either a mirror or genuine friends who can tell her that she IS SO NOT LOOKING GOOD………………

  7. I think she looks really great. She looks sexy….and no I’m not sarcastic, I don’t know why you people are bashing Amisha for this.
Do you guys think that Sari is the most decent dress if the pallu is on her completely and covering both the breasts..Cumon sari is one of the most revealing dresses even if worn properly until and unless people wrap the pallu all around like our grandmoms did. Tell me which dress in the world reveals the stomach or show the belly button as much as the sari does. A salwar kurta or a jeans tshirt is a much more decent dress and covers up almost all the body. So if the sari worn properly and the stomach shows it’s fine but if someone wears it in a different manner its an insult to the sari. I would call that hypocrisy!

    • If you saw someone turn up in a backless gown with a non-backless bra would you not cringe..

It’s the same here.. I don’t care about the skin show.. it’s wearing things the wrong way that bothers me..

      • I don’t think that’s the right comparison. If Amishas bra was showing in this pic, her thong was visible or if her petticoat was visible then the comparison would be apt and I would agree that the saree was not worn properly. In this pic nothing of that sort is the case and she’s wearing the saree in a particular style which might not appeal to all. But that doesn’t mean she’s trashy or she’s insulting the saree..

    • Dear @Chimmi Canga,

This is because she has pulled the pallu down so cheaply to give it that look !! Reminds me of the lip biting and eye movement scene in those C grade movies …
Sometimes its not how much skin you are showing but how you are showing it becomes more important. As somebody suggested, she could have the same amount of boob show with a gujrati style pallu and it would have looked better but this looks cheap and desperate.

And of course nobody is suggesting to dress like Gannys here !!!

      • well, yes ..she is giving that vamp look. All I am saying is there is no particular way of wearing a sari. Trends are changing, sari is becoming more fashionable than earlier, it’s more sexier than ever with varieties of blouses..
