In Payal Singhal

At Payal Singhal’s showing, Shaheen sat front-row wearing a jumpsuit by the designer. Jewelry from her own line, a small bindi and pair of suede booties rounded out the somewhat boho-ish look. Like what you see?

In Twos

With the theme of the night being black and gold, Shibani and Shaheen opted for the latter color when choosing their dresses. Shibani wore a simple wrap dress and Shaheen, a pleated Lola By Suman B pairing it with a gold Bottega Veneta clutch and the Saint Laurent Tribute sandals.

I didn’t really care for Shibani’s dress but liked that she stuck to one main shiny item unlike Shaheen. In her case, it was one too many shiny items.

Sari Style

At the Aroka store launch, Shaheen was seen in a grey and blue sari paired with a v-neck blouse, medallion earrings and her Bottega Veneta knot clutch. I wonder if the tight pleats were an attempt to hide the fact that the sari was just unpacked (as evident by the folds on the pallu).

I do like the sari but can’t say I like this tight pleat drape. Just have not really been a fan of it. Think she wore it well?

At SVA’s new store (plus pret-line) launch, Shaheen was photographed wearing a cape by the designer duo. Tan accessories aside, the jewelry designer rounded out the look by layering pieces of jewelry from her own line, Flowerchild.

In Nikhil Thampi

At the launch of her new jewellery line, Shaheen was seen wearing a Nikhil Thampi oxblood blazer gown with jewellery from her line, but of course. Considering it was a jewellery launch, I am guessing the sleek do was to show off the jewellery but am on the fence about it working with the gown itself. Especially with the gown having that one-sided off-shoulder detail.

Just me feeling that way?
