Befikre’s trailer was launched Monday at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and looking lovely in a strapless button down Alexis Mabille gown was leading lady Vaani. I’ve been waiting so long for good pics to do full justice to her look but alas, have not been able to find any.

A satin gown is not easy to pull off but the understated finishing touches that came via the Bvlgari serpenti bracelet and the high bun sealed the deal here. Did you love this look too?

P.S. A note to production houses: Your film gets more promotion if you share high-res pics, you know. 😛

P.P.S. Catch her Ferragamo and Dior look that she wore to shoot videos for the film inside.

Irrfan Khan has been busy with the promotional events of his upcoming movie, Inferno. He attended a photo call for the movie, wearing jeans which he paired with a Zegna Blazer.

He kept it more formal at the premiere, wearing a Dior suit with a Zegna tie and Christian Louboutin shoes.

While both of his looks worked, I thought he looked dapper in his suit appearance.

Ranveer and Vaani on Bazaar Bride; (Un)Covered

Although their movie Befikre doesn’t come out till early December, Ranveer and Vaani feature on Bazaar Bride’s Oct edition with the former wearing Gucci and the latter a La Perla bodysuit with a Dior jacket.

At first glance, I thought this was another leading man accompanied by a model cover. It’s only after I read the text that noticed that was Vaani. 😛

Two magazines recently had leading men on the cover accompanied by models. Sidharth featured on the Maxim one this month in a suit from Arvind Store with Carla Dennis and Ninja Singh (both in Deme).

Ranbir wearing a Roberto Cavalli suit and Dior shirt featured on the Vogue issue last month with Gizele Oliveira (right of Ranbir) in Balmain and Ketholeno Kense in Fausto Puglisi.

Of course, the Vogue cover was a lot more striking and more so because of Ketholeno and Gizele. As for the Maxim, as much as we love Sidharth, it was quite a snooze.

Doing all-black in a mesh Self-Portrait dress was Athiya at the Rima Jain birthday event. You’ll remember seeing the dress on Tanya as well just a few weeks ago.

While Athiya had the footwear advantage over here, the look still felt a bit dull. Maybe a different colored clutch would’ve spruced up her look a bit.
