In Anavila
At Anavila Misra’s store launch, both Kiran and Tillotama lent their support by sporting saris by the designer. Though we may not always be on board with their sartorial choices, we do love the fact that they stay strong to their personal style, which was true of this instance too.
While Ms. Shome wears her look well, it wasn’t quite our cup of tea. If we had to choose, Kiran would have our vote in this match-up; love the sari-blouse combo on her.

I swear to god they look homeless. How is this considered fashion?
Exactly! It seems as though they made an outfit out of anything they could find.
Ha ha ha ha. You are right! Tilottama’s style is what from her “Monsoon Wedding” days? But she looked nice in those very ordinary saris maybe age does matter. 😀
This is just terrible. And what is so great about their personal style; wearing baggy/shapeless/mismatched clothing is fashion?
I love love love Tillotama’s saree. Red flowers on her hair or a kunjalam on the braid may have rounded up the look nicely.
I only like Kiran’s blouse. I desperately need a good tailor:(
Love them both. They OWN their sarees.
Baggy, unkempt, ill-fitting, mismatched, shabby, garish.
Lol. If Vidya Balan was also included with her shabbiness and shades, this would have been perfect 3.
+1
Why is kiran rao wearing Vin Diesel’s ‘chronicles of riddik ‘ wale goggles. ??
Why has tillotama fashioned a saree out if chunnis ?
Is this Indian version of shabby chic. Kiran looks adorable nonetheless
Very fond of both these ladies. Kiran could have done better with a dainty clutch, and I wish Tilottama had chosen a soft hair-do and golden jootis/sandals.
I usually like their style.
Calling this designer is a crime, there should be some capital punishment for this hideous crime.
