Deepika attended a Cartier event wearing a custom Gaurav Gupta gown sculptural gown and of course, these pics shared on social media were amazing. My issue though is I wish we could get some picture from the actual event. Alas, past three apperances she has had for the brand, even Cartier has not release images from the event.

You may ask why does it matter. It does, because these studio pics work in the sense of still life and perfect lighting. Real life though is a different thing.

The first time we spotted Koel Purie in that dress, we thought she wore her look rather well, very ‘day at the races’ meets ‘quirky’… minus the bag and jewelry. The second time around too, we thought she wore her dress well… this time, minus that stole.

Joining the ranks of Laila Khan and Neha Uberoi was Sophie Chaudhary with her Fendi ‘To You’ convertible bag! Its one Fendi bag that we neither like in its ‘shoulder bag’ version nor in its ‘clutch’ avatar!

Having paired the clutch with right colors (clothes), it doesn’t look too bad on Sophie… but it is still not a clutch that’d ever make it onto our lust list!
