Sonam was a presenter at the concert celebrating King Charles III’s coronation and was seen wearing a custom gown by Emilia Wickstead using a printed textile created by Anamika Khanna referencing a chintz print

Me, I was a bit underwhelmed because I hear the mention of Anamika Khanna and I expect some of her signature drape or embroidery work. To see that her only input was just the creation of the textile was quite disappointing.

While at an Iftar party in Mumbai, Huma was photographed in an Anamika Khanna anarkali. Wearing her hair back, the actor rounded out her look with a pair of traditional earrings. She looked nice!

Anamika Khanna had quite the night this weekend. Kajal Aggarwal too picked the designer for the Gala on Saturday evening. Wearing her hair up, she rounded out the look with jewelry that picked up on the blue from her outfit and a Judith Leiber clutch. She did good!

Both Patralekhaa and Shibani opted for Anamika Khanna‘s signature cape-style outfits for the Gala. Wearing their hair up, both ladies rounded out the look by layering necklaces and adding multiple rings and cuffs, with the former opting for silver-toned jewelry and the latter, gold-toned.

Both outfits are heavy on detail and interesting but the styling takes away from their look. I wish Patralekhaa had picked a less intrusive potli and Shibani, a sleeker hair do and different sandals. As it stands though, between the two, my vote would have to go to Patralekhaa- the look was just put together better. And despite the busy outfit and bag, she looked good.

As for Rajjkumar and Farhan’s outfits, not my jam.

Ms. Pednekar has been giving us off-beat looks in the recent months so the NMACC Fashion gala was the perfect opportunity for her to experiment and deliver a high-fashion look. She opted for an Anamika Khanna structured gown worn with a headpiece that felt very this John Galliano for Dior inspired, which in itself had its inspiration from Indian jewellery.

I love the color, I love the make-up, I love it waist up but she loses me at the silhouette. The jelly-fish like bottom part was a design am not being able to warm up to.
