Wearing Anamika Khanna, Sonakshi Sinha attended the Trivedi-Mantena wedding reception on Sunday evening. The sari-pant set was one that we’d also seen on Katrina back in 2016 but minus the cape.
Didn’t think Ms. Kaif got the finishing touches right back then and neither did Sonakshi. The cape, the bag on the shoulder, the bright white talons: all of it just looked bad together. Can’t say I liked. Did you?

That’s one gaudy outfit . The sparkly choker and talons make it even worse
it’s kind of a cosplay of a Devdas movie outfit look. I think it would’ve worked better without that sheer white overlay. I do like her makeup here.

Katrina looked way better in 2016 minus the very gold jewelry.
Kinda looks like she has a tote bag slung on each shoulder.

I don’t like that jhola style cape – it looks very weird and clashes with the outfit.
And this particular shade of red is very difficult to pull off – it easily goes into the tacky category if not styled well.
Which clearly is the case here.
Hair and make up – no complaints. She looks beautiful
Channelling Mumtaz from ‘ aaj kal tere mere pyaar ke charche har zubaan par’ who’s going grocery shopping with jhola bags on either side . I am on the edge about it . But how gorgeous is her face and makeup

Minus the jhola, the nails and choker closer the red hues. Just the make up and lehenga.. would have been so pretty. But then we would all said bridal. No winning in this one
