Wearing embellished saris, both Tania and Alaya attended recent wedding receptions held in Mumbai. While the former teamed her Falguni and Shane Peacock sari with emerald jewelry, the latter paired her Manish Malhotra sari with a diamond choker.

That ‘champagne-gold’ color of Tania’s sari did her no favor- it really washed her out! As for Alaya, that whole Manish Malhotra look is so played out. Wasn’t a fan of either look, or of the saris themselves.

Wearing a Ridhima Bhasin outfit, Kriti attended a wedding reception in Mumbai recently. I am not personally drawn to the separates but Kriti sure wears them well; the styling really helped too!

For the Trivedi-Mantena reception, Genelia suited up in Eiza By Kaaj. Wearing her hair up, she rounded out the look with gold jewelry and black sandals. She looked great. Personally, I would’ve skipped that gold cuff; it takes away from an otherwise well put together look. It was a minor gripe though and easy to overlook!

For a recent round of festivities, Huma picked a cheery floral-print lehenga by Baise Gaba. We are so conditioned to seeing over-the-top styling everywhere that my first instinct was, this lehenga is way too casual for a reception and feels more mehendi-ish. That’s entirely untrue- the choice of color makes for a refreshing change of pace and Huma looked nice. Only thing I would change- the choice of evening bag. I wasn’t a fan.
