Ms. Bachchan attended her movie’s screening wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla embroidered coat and slip dress. A matching silk potli rounded out the look well. She looked good!
Her (Jaya’s) look reminded me of the separates seen on Kiara not too long ago. She too teamed a long embroidered coat with matching separates, taking a more youthful approach with a crop-top of course. Can’t say I was as big a fan of this look- the fit on that embellished top seemed off.

About just over a week after she wore an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari-gown with the pallu around her hand at Cannes, Sara sported yet another similar look in a red ruffled sari at the IIFA Awards. The addition of that emerald necklace made for a nice contrast and that’s about all that I liked about this sari.

Day two of Cannes saw Sara wearing yet another Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla which was a play on a sari with the pallu worn around the hand.
I’ll give her a B for effort because waist up, she looked interesting but I am not sold on that skirt design.

Sara attended her first Cannes Film Festival wearing a lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. I appreciate the effort to make a statement by making that long dupatta train but between the color and the fatigue I have over seeing lehengas all the time, I was unimpressed. She looked more like she was on her way to her wedding.
All the talk of India and its bold colors and yet she shied away from it. Quite a missed opportunity, this.
