Ms. Puri (who is her own best brand ambassador) showed recently at the Bangalore Fashion Week with Mahima Chaudhary as her show stopper. The busy designer was spotted next in Mumbai at Samsaara’s Shades of Spring event showcasing her Spring collection with Sonal Chauhan.

One to wear her own designs more often than not, seeing Asmita once again sport her own label came as no surprise. And might I add, we like.

She looked great in a look that was easy and laid-back. Even the flower works! If we are taking away any points from this appearance, it’s just for the bag. 😉

The volume and length, coupled with color should have swallowed up Maheka whole, but it doesn’t. To her credit, the designer sported the outfit without letting it overwhelm her. Having said that, question now is… You like the look?

New York Fashion Week is underway and we’ve already had an Indian designer sighting. E! Network correspondent Amanda Garrigus was spotted in a Falguni and Shane Peacock dress at Bloomingdale’s Mad About Fashion Event. Compared to their other designs, I found this rather toned down.

How long before we see the Peacocks having their own show at MBNYFW? Well, fingers crossed when they do, we get invites! 😉
