Miu Miu Ladies

Spotted at separate events were Miu Miu matelasse bags. While Malaika sported a dressed down look with a hobo, Lara was more dressed up with a tote, a look that I loved!

In Twos

True to form, Anushka continues to keep it simple, laid-back and more or less casual with every appearance of hers, whether work or play.

P.S: Anushka is in an Anita Dongre Grassroot corset at the ‘Patiala House‘ promotion.

Red Hot?

For her most recent appearance, it was a strapless red gown for Chitrangada. Ms. Singh kept the jewelry to a minimum and let the gown do the talking. Pulled back hair would’ve been nice but as it stands, we think she looked great anyway!

In Monisha Jaising

Barkha (of Barkha n Sonzal, a menswear design house) was spotted at a preview at Aza in a feathered Monisha Jaising skirt paired with a black tee and strappy sandals.

We get that she wanted the skirt to stand out and thus kept the top simple, but having seen the skirt with the jacket on the runway, the tee didn’t quite match up (for me anyways). Neither did the sandals. You like?

Catch the sister duo’s design on Barkha’s husband Rahul Sharma and father-in-law Shiv Kumar Sharma inside.

India Inspired: DvF For H.Stern Sutra Collection

DvF and H. Stern have had quite a success with their design collaborations and the latest in line, the Sutra collection has been received favorably too. The DvF for H. Stern Sutra collection draws inspiration from 18th century Indian mogul jewelry. Apparently. And I say “apparently” because I don’t really see it.

DvF For H.Stern Sutra Collection

At the back of each piece, one can find engraved Diane’s “Sutras”: Love, Laughter, Freedom and Truth. The jewelry that’s crafted using ancient techniques runs upwards of $3000.

More on the collection via DvF and H. Stern!
