The Grammy Awards is underway as I type but the moment of the night for us sure was seeing Cardi B walk the red carpet in a customized version of thisGaurav Gupta Couture piece fresh of the Paris Fashion Week runway. You know we loved to see it!

Iman, who plays the lead in the upcoming Ms. Marvel series, was seen at the premiere wearing an aubergine Gaurav Gupta gown. Loved that she picked a South Asian designer for her big event and more so that she wore the gown her way, with sneakers.

Wearing a sculptural gown by Gaurav Gupta, Aishwarya walked the red carpet on day 3 of Cannes. We’ve seen Gaurav’s design on the red carpet but I wasn’t a fan of it. Not the case here. Absolutely loved this one and glad again, that Aishwarya didn’t take a risk with the make-up. She looked drop dead gorgeous!

Sarah Jane who is at Cannes to promote her movie Zubaan, walked the red carpet at the screening of Youth wearing a Gaurav Gupta couture gown. You all will remember that the gown was worn by Deepika at the premiere of HNY, an event that also had Ms. Dias in attendance.
Wearing the mermaid gown with a sleek middle parted hairdo, she finished out her red carpet look with a red lip and earrings from Hanut Singh. Now, this was more like it. She looked great!

While most ladies did traditional silk saris at this reception, Divya went offbeat wearing a Gaurav Gupta fusion sari from the designer’s couture collection. Sporting the burgundy outfit with a sleek middle-parted hair do, her look was finished out with an Annika Rucci clutch and jewellery from Om Jewellers.
In the past, we’ve seen Divya falter when it came to her make-up. No such issues here though. She looked fantastic. Now, the sheer element of the skirt may not be everyone’s cup of tea but for me it wasn’t a deal breaker. Was it for you?
