At the SAG Awards, instead of a formal gown, Nimrat gave us another strapless dress look in a Toni Maticevski. I have to admit, my first reaction was that of disappointment. I was expecting to be blown away and I wasn’t quite here.

I also felt the styling was not quite on point. Not only did the dress call for a more sleek hairdo but also the mirrored pumps felt a rather boring pick. After all, this was a major red carpet event.

At the SAG Awards, Kunal may have looked shabby with the different shades of black and the ill-fitted shirt but more than making up for it was his wife, Neha. Her black Valentino gown may have been too simple a pick for the red carpet but she still looked stunning in it. Am not a fan of satin but here the McQueen clutch added just the right bit of drama the look needed.

Compared to other guests at this reception, Sophie’s Anushka Khanna lehenga look was rather simple. While I appreciate the move, am not sure if I like the lehenga itself.

Don’t get me wrong here, I didn’t want her to go too ornate, it’s just that even with its shimmery gold and pink dupatta, the lehenga felt dull. Her make-up also was quite off here.

Just me feeling that way?

Wearing a Nikasha sari, Sandhya attended Soha and Kunal’s private wedding reception finishing out the look with a braid and gold jhumkis. While I loved the sari at first glance, her makeup here felt dull and evoked that been-in-the-sun-too-long feeling.

But, the more I look at the pic, the less I mind it. Maybe, because she wears the sari so well.
