Why Angad opted for a velvet bandhgala, Neha picked light pink separates to wear. With her hair in a messy fishtail braid, she rounded out the look with a statement necklace and a metallic oversized clutch.
She looked nice, but between the messy do and understated make-up, it was a bit too washed out for me. Had she picked a sleeker do and jewelry that stood out, the look would’ve worked a whole lot better. That said, I do wish she had saved this look for a regular event and picked something a little more festive instead.

I would consider Neha underdressed and shabby for a wedding reception event, especially of a colleague. Angad looks nice and appropriately attired.
Considering how the newlyweds were dressed, I think Neha looks far more event appropriate than some of the usual chammak challo outfits. Wish this becomes the new normal..
I’d call that a bird’s nest or unkempt hair. It’s far from a chic messy braid. The bag and the hair really sink this look. I like the outfit and jewelry just fine.
The only explanation for her appearance is that her toddler got the best of her en route to the event!
That was my first thought as well!! LOL
Why not make an effort & come to a wedding event ? Even throwing on a salwar suit would be easy and hassle free .
That’s not a reception outfit.. a suit? Silk pyjamas? She looks awesome in the soft pink and styling.
I have seen Alia wear something similar – I wish she had worn a deeper lip Color – She looks like a kindergartener on her way back home.
Her outfit and jewelry looks just fine.
Her hair looks limp and damp-out-of-shower unkempt.
And not effort whatsoever with makeup.
Could have been better look.
But for the hair, I think this would have been a great look. This needed sleeker, more minimal hair.
The colour and cut of the outfit are great, and the necklace is a good addition.
Neha just needed to tweak this a little bit, maybe the clutch is jarring. I like that she wore something avant-garde and she looks pretty.
