Janhvi cast her vote early in the morning wearing a pink Punit Balana anarkali and then travelled out of the city for promotions wearing a mini dress with sneakers. While she looked pretty in the pink, it is just so weird to me that the outfit just got that short of an outing. As a designer who lent the piece, I wouldn’t be very happy about it.
But, that is the nature of the business these days.

Goodness leave it to Bollywood celebs to make our duty to vote a “desi-girl-next-door-costume” parade. Can they do anything without making it a PR event?
And it’s a really pretty suit too, of its hand-tied bandhni.

agree with the other comments. in the sweltering mumbai heat, where folks have waited for 2hours on an average to cast their votes, trust bollywood to make a PR event out of it, with fully coordinated outfits, right from earring to sandals! what on earth!
Bombay is famous for record low voter turnouts. Unlikely Janhvi waited for more than a couple minutes to vote.
