At a recent Awards event, Janhvi was photographed in a cut-out gown by Marc Bouwer. Minus the choice of color, which I was fully on board with, can’t say I was a big fan of the gown itself- the straps with the halter-neck just looks odd. The placement of the cut-outs didn’t help either!
Also, consider this your periodic reminder- what works on Instagram doesn’t necessarily work in real life.

Haha the designer had no clue Wer to cut Wer to not and how much and what over all do what with all the cut outs, such a confused, amateur design.

this looks like a swimsuit had a change of mind and was becoming a dress but jahnvi grabbed it before the process was completed.
The dress is faulty,Jahnvi did her best to pull it off…Kudos to her for that!!
The origami cut outs make no sense, just janhvi being janhvi. I vision this without the cuts and I feel it looks so much better.
The new lot of actors want meaningful work but they dress like reality TV stars at every chance. I do not understand this dichotomy. This dress is neither tasteful nor sexy. It looks uncomfortable for anything but a photo shoot.

I mean yeah it’s pretty generic kardashianesque instagram outfit- but she looks like a million bucks.
The outfit is not doing her any favours.
this is a new mantra for bw designers, front cutouts ‘offset’ by capes/free flowing fabric at the back!! not working peeps!
