Wearing an Ellery pantsuit featuring the brand’s signature sleeve ruffles, Sonam attend a panel talk event on Tuesday evening. Pumps and a glittery clutch finished out her look. I didn’t care for this pantsuit but do like the finishing touches here. Do you like the pantsuit.

Given how dramatic the sleeves are (and that they are meant to command attention), the cropped and flared trousers throws this entire suit off. Longer length and a smaller flare may have worked better, or cropped and straight. But the flare being larger and so close to the sleeves makes it look like they just didn’t know when to stop in terms of showing off their flair (no pun intended).
The earrings are perfect..
gimmicky
I agree with the comment above that it looks too gimmicky. The cropped trousers don’t work here and she should have gone for a full length version.
