Isha picked a feather topped, fully sequinned suit by Maheka Mirpuri for a Diwali do this past weekend. Her accessories included jewelry by Jet Gems, a Bottega Veneta clutch and Saint Laurent platform heels.
I don’t know if it’s the feather-trim itself or that contrast of color. Or maybe, it’s the sequinned suit in its entirety or the way in which the look was styled? Who am I kidding, it’s all of it. Hate raining on someone’s festive best but can we all collectively agree this warrants a WTHeyyy!!!?

There is a velvet too..lol Multi coloured sequins, feathers, velvet..nothing was left while ‘designing’ the suit.
Remove the feathers and make it a kurta with straps, it will still work, but the shoes are horrendous
So this what Maheka Mirpuri stocks in her Prabhadevi store that sits on very expensive real estate?

Isha looks awesome, the vulture feather neck and gold sandals were crass, I’m ok with her shiny dress because she looks good with nude toned make up.
The top half is going for a Halloween party and the bottom half for Diwali! Maybe they decided to combine both, for a change.
There is nothing to like in this outfit. And adding to the woes are those horrible silver toned earrings and the icky gold sandals.
Looks like the stylist got sent a disco-themed dress from the designer by mistake last minute and decided to turn it Diwali-worthy by throwing in those flashy earrings, shoes, pants , dupatta AND a golden border (as if it wasn’t shiny enough)! There is no other legal explanation to see fur on a Diwali wear.
This look is going to haunt me in my dreams today!
