A Throwback!

Pragya wore a printed Rohit Bal and green Sabyasachi suit to Diwali parties not too long ago and made both looks work for her. Especially like the look in Sabya, the color looked great on her!

Sari Style

Spotted Mini wearing striped saris on two different occasions recently, rounding out both looks with matching bags and hoop earrings. Of the two, loved the black striped sari on her. I only wish she had skipped the match-ey evening bag, that little touch of kitsch didn’t add anything to the look. That minor gripe aside, Mini looked lovely.

Recent round of festivities had Sophie picking a Manish Malhotra sharara and crop-top to wear to one do, and a sari-gown by Itrh to wear to another. The look in black Itrh sari-gown was an instant favorite; she made every bit of that look work.

When not wearing a cape-style jacket, Nushrat wore her dupatta draped like one. Between the blue Manish Malhotra, the black Prerna Mehra and the shimmery ivory separates, which was your favorite look on her? Can’t say I was blown away by either of these looks but if I absolutely had to choose one, the outing in blue lehenga would have my vote.

Rakul attended Diwali parties in Mumbai wearing lehengas that featured embellished blouses. And she accessorized both with statement earrings.

Between the tropical print Arpita Mehta (below, left) and the gold-toned Manish Malhotra, have a favorite? I wasn’t drawn to either look in particular but if I had to choose, much prefer the sighting in Arpita Mehta. The sequins/embellishment on the MM choli (blouse) looked like an after-thought and the lehenga itself, for a lack of better word, looked very “inexpensive”.
