    Seriously ?!!

My first glance was on the photo to the left and I felt it was probably a ‘What The Heyyy’….. you can only imagine how confused I am after reading your post.

I clearly don’t understand ‘eclectic kitsch…but if I were dressed like that lady my mom wouldn’t let me out of the house and I would be eternally grateful for that – LOL

Ah absolutely. She’s gorgeous and obviously has some sense of herself and is comfortable in her own skin.
    Well done.

You have to be kidding. If this can fall into the ‘Best-Dressed’ list then I can see PC successfully vying for a spot on the list as well. Neither looks work at all and this would’ve been labeled a WTHeyy on anyone else. Seriously now.

I have seen this t-shirt also as you said in men’s section in lord and taylors. As far as I remember it’s French connetion.

i think her fashion sense is too pretentious.

Seriously those leggings and the shoes don’t go together.

Ah, I absolutely agree. Very stylish, and obviously is willing to experiment.

I really love her style as I see it now (chic, eclectic, whatever and she’s undoubtedly a stunner) though I am not sure if this qualifies for best dressed?? I’ve no idea who this woman is, but if this is her prominent style, then I am at a loss on what appeals to P & P!! You girls are sometimes so contradictory, making this blog lose its credibility. Like somebody else mentioned, this look would have gotten a wtheyy if tried by some other.

    1. swati at | | Reply

I don’t think that the blog’s credibility is in any danger …. yes, had anyone else say PC/vidya would have worn this, it would have probably been a WTH …..

but thats the thing about kitch/eclectic …. it depends completely on the person’s personality … their attitude…. its not a valentino that would make anyone look pretty … its more of john galliano and you need enough quirkiness in you to carry it off ……

Of the current bollywood lot, i can think of only sonam who can pull off something like this (any other suggestions anyone ??) …. the rest usually do beautiful/pretty/dainty

    Who is she?

    Umm…open toed sandals with pantyhose/stockings?
Isnt that listed as a major faux-pas in a lot of your other posts? Then how come it makes it to the best dressed list here…

      my thoughts exactly!

    Dear P,
i get kitschy dressing but the first outfit put together just does not cut it..come on, tell me you dont reallly like it. She’s done far more better looks but this one is horrible

The second look is nice, shoes are to die for..completely up my alley!!

The outfit/picture on the right is by far the most perfect outfit i’ve ever seen featured on hhc!! i want to see more of her!! absolutely love her style =) casual yet still “her” and not trying too hard. perfect!

  21. lazyU at | | Reply

I think this is proof of what a person wears sometimes doesn’t matter but how they carry it. The outfits look super awesome on her but I imagine Shriya saran wearing them and I gag!

She definitely fulfills the ‘cool’ quotient to wear something like that.

  22. Marika at | | Reply

not a big fan of the first look but the second one is tres chic….LOVE the pants and the tee!!!

  23. Saira at | | Reply

LOVE both looks, esp the one on the left.. What a yummy dress, so my kinda outfit!!! And yes, please feature more of her!! This is the first time I’ve seen her and her fashion sense deffo appeals to me

  24. Nadia at | | Reply

she is rocking the pants in second pic.

    Who is she?

  26. fashion_outsider at | | Reply

I love the mix of prints in the first picture. As far as the panty hose with open-toed shoes goes, well, its an outdated rule, right up there with no white after thanksgiving. Besides, those are leggings.

In the second picture I love how she balances those jodhpur type pants (?) with that lovely jacket. And the shoes are fierce!

This woman has brought back my faith in Indian celebrities’ fashion sense.

I like her style… specially the black (what’s it) gladiators? & the white shirt with sun glasses print is from forever21, I have seen it there.
