haha..yes and there is a market for this bag. People are ready to spend that much on a bag ;-).

I like the bag Lisa is holding in the pic. She looks more at ease with the whole leg. Sonam is trying too hard and it shows.

*oops i meant to say “whole look” :P

      Same reaction 1,650.00 for a bag ????
Why are these bags so costly (ofcourse other than they are designer bags) ?
Sonam always seems to wear on & off-screen very costly designer stuff.

I will buy these bags may be in my dreams…..

would u be surprised if ms rhea used her own dress in the movie,,,she is the producer after al…lolzz definately sonam carries her looks very well…but when so many resources are @ the tips of ur fingers,,i don’t see why many other actress don’t use them wiselyl…sad story of lovely bollywood..:(

So this movie is about South Delhi women. Just go to DLF mall you will see women dressed up like this (in fact I met the cast of Aisha there). It is very inspiring!!

Sonam totally pulls off that high waisted pant look! Very impressive!

Wow what’s the budget for this movie? Seems like the GDP of a small country!

    1. devika.s at | | Reply

lol!! dont worry the budget wont be sky high, seems like clothes is all the Kharcha these ppl had, going by the stills, which isnt too different from sonam’s regular outfits! me thinks, is this a mere extension of their own lives, dressed in jane austen/clueless?? cuz i havent seen or read anything about the movie or its story and blah, al i see and hear and read about is ‘ooooh this outfit and that bag and those shoes’! i wish they wud have given thoda more spotlight to the talented director and writer as well!!

      1. eclat at | | Reply

@Devika: there’s an interview with the writer up on this blog called Indiequill. The best part seems to be that this is a movie by, for and composed largely of women. At least for that it’s a must-watch, don’t you agree?!

      2. Anu at | | Reply

I believe Anil Kapoor once said that the girls finished the movie, on time, on schedule, on budget as well!!! If you look closely, the movie is shot in Delhi, Mumbai and Hrishikesh! So no foreign exotic locales for them. Savings $$$. No price-tag heavy star cast. Savings $$$. No famous hot shot director/music director/etc. Savings $$$. Publicity is mostly through Internet Media at the moment.

I think it’s okay to splurge on fashion when you have been mindful on everything else. (In fact, this might just become a trend.)

          Savings $$$

I believe pernia queshi..is the stylist for the girls and dude named kunal something for guys

      1. Anu at | | Reply

and the designer is Ayesha Depala. Sonam sports quite a few of her creations throughout the movie.

        1. Payal at | | Reply

Including Depala, Sonam will be spotted in Dior, Rehane too.
